Dress Code: The following dress code will be applicable to all Kulavis and devotees who wish to enter the Chowk of the Temple. Recommended dress for males above the age of 15
Adda Panche, Dhoti, Full Pants, Shirts and Jubbas, Pyjama Kurta, Anga Vastra. Bear chested boys and men should have shawls (upparne). Prohibited Attire Designer and colored lungis, shorts, jeans, round necked T-shirts with or without designs.
Recommended dress for females above the age of 15
Saree, Salwar Kameez, Ghagra Cholee Prohibited Attire Shorts, mini and midi skirts, jeans, kurtis, round necked T-Shirts.

KULAVIS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO USE THE WEBSITE FOR GIVING INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ANY SEVAS TO BE PERMORMED IN THE TEMPLE. YOUR INTRUCTIONS OR REQUESTS, IF ANY, SHOULD BE CONVEYED BY E-MAIL (slmtmt@yahoo.com) OR BY POST. PLEASE NOTE AND OBLIGE.
On all days other than the days on which Vishesha Utsavas and or Special Festivals are celebrated the Daily Mahapoojas are performed at 12.00 P.M. in the afternoon and at 8.00 P.M. at night. Canteen coupons will not be issued after 12.30 P.M. in the afternoon and 7.30 P.M. in the evening. Please note requests to prepare any specific dishes will not be entertained. Please note reserving meals for people reaching the Temple very late is also generally not accepted. However, Kulavis may conduct the office in case of any exigency. Kindly note that the Temple canteen is not a restaurant, but a convenience for the Kulavis. Therefore, Kulavis are requested to cooperate. Kulavis visiting the Temple are requested to verify from the office whether their addresses are registered with Temple. Please register your address or change in your address (along with your e-mail address, if any) in the office.
Please note that no sevas, including Vadhu Vara Bheti, are performed on Ekadashi, Vijayadashami, Vade Panchami and the Poornahuti day of Shata Chandi Havana. Pushpa Poojas are offered only at night Mangalarathi.
The changes for celebrating commemorative days In the Temple are as follows: Full day’s Seva in the canteen Rs. 8000/- Breakfast (Morning Tea Etc.) Rs. 2500/- Afternoon Prasad Rs. 2500/- Night Prasad Rs. 2500/- Preference will be given to the request RECEIVED FIRST.
No request for commemorative celebration will be accepted for any Panchami Festival Day, Vijaya Dashami, Vade Panchami, Shata Chandi Havana Days and days on which Vishesh Poojas/Utsava are listed.
KULAVIS UNABLE TO PERFORM PERSONALLY THE SEVAS OF THEIR CHOICE CAN HAVE THEM PERFORMED IN THE TEMPLE BY REMITTING THE REQUIRED AMOUND BY BANK DRAFT OR MAIL TRANSFER THROUGH BANKS. THOSE REMITTING MONEY BY MAIL TRANSFER/OTHER BANK MONEY TRANSFER SYSTEM ARE REQUESTED TO ADVISE THE OFFICE SEPARATELY AND THE PURPOSE IN DETAIL.THIS IS ESSENTIAL AS THE BANKS OFTEN DO NOT PROVIDE US THE ADVICES FOR MONEY/MAIL TRANSFERS.

Kulavis are requested to tender all contribution in kind through the Temple office and obtain a receipt The office staff will guide you about the procedure to do the “Krishnarpana”. Please note Kanuk, Donations, Contributions in the sum of Rs. 2500 and above will be accepted in Cheques / DDs only. Also, those Kulavis wishing to donate Rs. 10000 and above shall provide their PAN card copies.
Please Note: We cannot accept foreign currency donations. Genaral Council of the Temple will meet immediately adter the Mahasantarpana on the Vade Panchami Day in the office block of the Temple.
For the attention of Room Sponsors 1) Rooms will be kept at their disposal during the celebration of major festivals in the Temple such as Vijaya Dashami, Vade Panchami, Shata Chandi Havan, Bhangra Mahamaya Utsav, for such period / days as the room/s will be occupied by them. Still however donors are requested to intimate to the temple office about their stay in their concerned rooms at least 10 days in advance. If the temple office does not get any information within stipulated time then the rooms will be allotted to some other kulavis. 2) They are also requested to inform the Temple Office 15 days in advance if they or any other kulavi persons nominated by them intend to occupy the room/s, during the rest of the year. 3) In the absence of such notice the management shall be free to allot the room/s to any other devotee. 4) The period of occupancy shall be restricted to three days/nights, except during the duration of festivals denoted above. For any exceptions, prior permission should be obtained from the Temple Office.
All Kulavis please note, in our Temple there is no room reservation / booking system either by phone / letter etc. in advance. Allotment of rooms will be done on “First Come First Served” basis only. Kulavis shouls provide copy of proof of their identity before occupying rooms. Henceforth, money received by way of Money Order will be accepted as Kanika only, as the new E-money order forms do not contain description of sevas to be conducted. Last date to receive scholarship application to Temple Office is 31st August 2024.
On 03-05-2022 Vaishaka Shuddha Tritiya (Akshay Tritiya Day) the temple oracle uttered that on Vade Panchami day nobody should enter in Shree Bhagawati Temple except the family representative of Dempo and Mahale along with Gaonkar. And also note that nobody should put their hands in boiling oil or not to touch the oil pan except Temple Gaonkar. In spite of this instruction of temple oracle, anybody touches the Vade Pan or oil they will be displeasure (contempt) of Goddess Shri Bhagavati please note.
